An exciting opportunity to join a UOW led project focused on leveraging an innovative additive manufacturing approach to fabricate advanced alloy components.
This position is supported by the prestigious Australian Research Council (ARC) Linkage program. You will play a key role in enhancing Australia’s sovereign capabilities in advanced alloy component manufacturing. To be successful you must hold a PhD in materials science or advanced manufacturing. High expertise in electron microscopy, neutron scattering, additive manufacturing, and mechanical property evaluation is essential, along with demonstrated skills in industry engagement, qualitative and quantitative research, and scientific publishing. A proven track record of high-quality publications is expected and additional experience in alloy design, wire arc additive manufacturing, hot isostatic pressing will be highly regarded.
