The Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) is looking for a dedicated and motivated Administration Officer (Level 4) to join our Revenue Administration Support team. In this role, you will provide a comprehensive range of administrative services, ensuring efficient support across various functions. Your responsibilities will include managing public and customer relations, delivering high-quality administrative assistance, and contributing to the smooth operation of our revenue administration processes. About You
You are proficient in MS Office (Excel Workbook, Teams, Outlook and Word) and have the ability to make use of internet-based applications to manage administrative tasks efficiently.You have demonstrated experience providing high level administrative services with proven ability to work autonomously and as an effective member of a team with minimal supervision.You possess sound interpersonal, communication, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.You have demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to complete tasks within defined timeframes and proven capacity to manage concurrent activities of a diverse nature.
Where you'll be working
We are seeking a highly organised and pro-active Administration Officer to join our Revenue Team, based at Gosford Hospital. The successful candidate will possess outstanding time management skills and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
This position includes dealing directly with patients, staff customers and members of the general public. The role will be responsible for the provision of accurate and timely preparation of reports/workbooks, electronic claiming, receipt of monies for invoices raised in the various billing systems used within CCLHD. This includes undertaking simplified billing reconciliation, debt collection activities, refund preparation, Medicare online claiming, clinic outpatients and accommodation billing/claiming via PBRC.
On occasion there may be a need to perform cashier duties.
