About the Role
Civeo Australia are looking for an Appliance Technician to join our Asset & Facilities Maintenance team in our Remote Accommodation Villages in regional Queensland. This role can be based out of either our Blackwater or Coppabella based Villages.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll your time in the field, with travel required across multiple villages on a lifestyle friendly week on / week off roster.
The main responsibilities of this role include carrying out the reactive, planned and preventative maintenance in Civeo Villages in a professional, technically sound, safe and timely manner. This position also comprises of the repair, upgrade and install of appliances and electrical infrastructure whilst complying with relevant legislation.

What we need from you
- Electrical Licence – Open Electrical Licence
- Class C, Manual Driver’s Licence
- Current First Aid CPR/LVR Certificate
- Experience in high volume, fast paced work environments
- Ability to pass Pre-employment medical
- A National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain
- Documentation to prove your working rights within Australia
- Demonstrated experience in similar work, preferably in or around mine sites, mining villages, or residential/demountable buildings
- Exceptional communication skills
