About the role
RW POOLS' is seeking a skilled Pool Technician to join our team in Oxenford, Queensland. As a key member of our maintenance and handyperson services department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of residential and commercial swimming pools in the local area. This is a full-time role with competitive benefits.
What you'll be doing
- Performing regular maintenance and servicing of swimming pools, including cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment repair
- Troubleshooting and resolving any issues with pool equipment, such as pumps, filters, and automation systems
- Providing exceptional customer service and communicating with clients to understand their needs and address any concerns
- Maintaining accurate records of all work completed and materials used
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies
- Assisting with the installation of new pool equipment and systems as required
What we're looking for
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a pool technician or in a similar maintenance role
- Strong knowledge of pool equipment, water chemistry, and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks
- A current driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in pool maintenance, plumbing, or a similar field would be highly regarded
