Salary Range: SOF Level 3 - $33.17 - $34.58 gross per hour
Employment Type: Term-Time, Permanent Position - 3 days per week (days negotiable)

MacKillop Catholic College , a master-planned Prep to Year 12 College located in the growing southern corridor of Cairns, was established in 2016 with Prep-Year 3 classes. The College has developed progressively, adding additional year levels annually, and commenced secondary education in 2020 with Year 7, and the first Year 12 cohort graduating in 2025. Guided by the authentic discipleship of Saint Mary MacKillop of the Cross, and the Josephite tradition, our mission, to inspire hearts, minds and spirits, is grounded in the vision to provide quality 21st century education to the young people in our community.
About The Role
Reporting to the Leader – Head of Performing Arts, the position will include (but not limited to), maintaining clean and organised music classrooms, orgainsing music supplies, arranging instrumental returns and repairs, cataloguing music and providing assistance for all College music events.
It also entails the providing of materials and other resources during a class that would normally take the teacher away from the teaching task at hand.
Ability to read music is necessary and experience working in a school music department will be highly regarded.
