Account Manager - Fundraising

We are looking for a switched-on account manager to join our growing 'Client Services’ team!

We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves working with people and building relationships with clients and colleagues.

The successful candidate will be a great communicator, highly organized with the right mix of experience and the willingness to learn new things.

About the role

This is a hands-on, service delivery role in a great team environment.

You will be working closely with a 200 seat Contact Centre, servicing a range of amazing charities from the well-known, respected brands to the small, just as important causes.

You will manage a portfolio of clients and be responsible for the end-to-end management of their tele-fundraising campaigns, ensuring they are project managed to run smoothly and achieve excellent results.

You will communicate directly with our clients (Fundraising Managers at various charities around Australia & NZ), liaise with our internal teams (Call Centre, Data, Quality Assurance) and collaborate with various external parties (Data Analysists, Digital Consultants, Lead Generation & Creative Agencies).

The work environment is fast-paced, flexible, hard-working and ethical.

About the business

Clever Contacts was founded in 2013, with the goal of ensuring charities in Australia would have an ethical and transparent option for their tele-fundraising supplier. We are a small but dynamic business, enabling you to make a real difference.

Our Brisbane Contact Centre has capacity for 200 seats and is one of only a few blended Inbound & Outbound Contact Centres who works solely with not-for-profit organisations.

Our team are mature, empathetic, and passionate long-term career fundraisers who pride themselves on returning excellent results for our charity partners and helping them make the world a better place.

Experience

Experience is desirable, particularly if you have solid, practical experience working as an Account Manager in a Contact Centre environment (highly desirable); or in a Relationship Management role within a service-based industry, direct marketing, and/or fundraising. Previous exposure to fundraising is also highly desired, and we'd love to hear from you!

Skills

  • A proactive approach and positive communication style (can-do attitude)
  • Attention to detail and a pragmatic approach to meeting client needs
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to work with data and reports
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (to write briefs and manage relationships with stakeholders).
  • Motivated by seeing results, pride in the quality of what you do.
  • Confidence working in a fast paced environment and a love of getting things done!

Conditions

Starting salary depending on experience. We have a strong focus on training and career progression, so if you're ambitious and driven then you'll be supported in achieving your goals.

We are located in Brendale, in Brisbane's North, we are very close to public transport and have free car parking.

Fulltime role and the working hours are 75 hours per fortnight spread over 9 working days, so you’ll have every 2nd Friday off. Reasonably flexible daytime hours preferring an earlier start.

Our clients are spread across Australia, so you may be required to travel occasionally.
