About the Role:
Come aboard and take the next step in your career! We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Customer Service & Inside Sales Support representative to join our Brisbane team.
Reporting to the State Manager - Queensland, this position will work with customers as a key point of contact for enquires to maintain effective relationships. This role will support our sales teams with timely quotations, sales support and assist in revenue growth for the business. We’re looking for an excellent communicator with a passion for providing high levels of customer service. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Accountabilities:
- Build and maintain long term relationships with new and existing clients and ensure high level of client satisfaction.
- Liaise with customers via phone, email, and in-person channels to support them with their cargo inquiries.
- Manage customer orders with overseas Gebrüder Weiss offices and agents to ensure seamless delivery.
- Liaise with the sales team to support customer relationships. This includes providing quotations, managing customer updates, resolving client issues, and improving customer relationships.
- Input and update customer orders, company tariffs, client rates, one-off quotes, and customer information into CargoWise.
- Work with overseas agents and colleagues to manage the timely turnaround of quotations.
- Process customer shipments through the task manager functionality of Cargowise to manage the paperless processing of orders and shipments.
- Support sales team to respond and follow up on sales inquiries and leads.
Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years expereince in the Freight Forwarding Industry
- At least 2 years’ experience in a Customer Service/Pricing position.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with great time management.
- Outgoing personality with the ability to create strong relationships.
- Familiarity and experience with CargoWise1 is considered essential. Experience with task manager, order manager, company tariff, client rates, and one off quote functionality within CargoWise considered advantageous.
- Positive attitude, ability to work and collaborate in a team, and a willingness to learn.
