We are currently expanding our team and have multiple job opportunities available to meet the growing demand in the area;
1. COOK (Full-time)
Tasks & responsibilities
- Check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
- Recognize superior quality products, presentations and flavour.
- Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, ovens, deep-fat fryers, or griddles.
- Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.).
- Adhere to recipe cards.
- Portion food, place it on plates, and add gravies, sauces and garnishes.
- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served.
- Ensure all food handling and hygiene practices are strictly adhered to.
- Prepare food orders to meet special dietary requirements and requests.
- Assist in developing daily and seasonal menu items for the restaurant, creating and preparing recipes and meals.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Participates in training restaurant staff on menu items including ingredients, preparation methods, and unique tastes.
- Liaise with Head Chef, other chefs and Owners
2. WAITER SUPERVISOR (Full-time)
Tasks & responsibilities
- Supervision and guidance of 10 front-of-house team members
- Rostering
- Reservation management
- Maintenance of Food Safety, health and hygiene practices
- Maintenance of Service Standards via daily training
- Coordination of Function Reservations
- Dispute resolution
- Inventory Control: Manage restaurant inventory, particularly related to service items.
- Adherence to Responsible Service of Alcohol and all Licencing obligations.
- Liaise with Restaurant Manager and Owners.
3. BAR SUPERVISOR (Full-time)
Tasks & responsibilities
- Create your own cocktail and spirit lists.
- Liaises with the owners on the wine list.
- Control stock
- Train floor staff in all things bar
- Hone your Barista skills.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have at least 2-3 years of experience in the occupation in F&B industry.
- Extensive and broad food or beverage knowledge
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with customers and staff.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Efficiency so that you can optimise your effort in our fast-paced environment
- Passion, speed, enthusiasm and a strong skill set is a must.
BENEFITS:
- A competitive salary from $55,000 -$75,000 plus super for successful candidates.
- Permanent full-time contract.
- We operate Tuesday and Saturday and are closed all day Sunday and Monday - so that you can enjoy a two-day weekend!
- On the job training with an emphasis on product knowledge, efficiency and service procedure will be provided to build on your knowledge and skills.
