Key Responsibilities:
Lab Activity Programmatic Support: Providing technical and programmatic support to the government for all lab activitiesTechnological Subject Matter Expertise: Providing subject matter expertise to customer leadership on emerging technologies (including AI) and initiatives related to space systems capabilitiesLab Initiatives: Advising customer and enterprise leadership on efficacy of planned lab initiatives (cost, schedule, performance, risk, and opportunities)Operational Efficiencies Advisement: Advising customer leadership on operational efficiencies, including systematic and innovative allocation of limited resources (e.g., personnel, power, space, and cooling)Evaluating Impacts: Representing customer in evaluating impacts to site architecture driven by capability changes and customer decisions; assesses innovative concepts and emerging lab capabilities for potential transition onto operational baselines

Required:
Clearance: TS/SCI clearance with a PolygraphEducation and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) or relevant field, and nine (9) years relevant experience; Masters in STEM or relevant field, and seven (7) years relevant experienceSystems Engineering: At least seven (7) years of hands-on systems engineering experience, including preparation of necessary system engineering artifactsProject Management: Demonstrated expertise across full systems engineering lifecycle and project managementDemonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks and effectively interact with engineers, project managers, support personnel, and senior decisionmakersGathering and Identifying Requirements: Experience gathering and identifying actionable requirements for new capabilitiesArray of Operations: Familiar with DevOps, DevSecOps, Agile development, and AI; Digital Engineering/Model Based Systems Engineering and associated toolsCommunication: Polished communicator (written/verbal); impeccable interpersonal skills and personal judgment; confident presenting analysis and recommendations to all levels of governmentTools: Hands-on JIRA and Confluence experience for intra- and inter-team communicationsMicrosoft Office: Expert user in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access, Project, Visio)

Cybersecurity: IT and cybersecurity familiarity, including cloud operations, layered defense, and riskAI and Model Development: Hands-on AI experience, especially model development using large data setsCyber Certification: Active cyber certification at DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 (i.e., Security+ CE)Developing Briefings: Experience developing briefings, analysis, etc. on short deadlines (8 hours or less)Research: Hands-on experience in an R&D environment as a researcherExecutive Level Support: Experience supporting senior executive level government officials
