ALG is seeking an Instructor - Delivery and Assessment to join our client's team at Darwin Airport . This role offers a permanent contract with our aviation client, along with highly accommodating leave packages that prioritize work-life balance.
You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality RTO and Part 147 maintenance training , conducting assessments, and ensuring compliance with aviation training standards. Your role will be key in developing and guiding future aircraft engineers through theory and practical lessons , exams, and hands-on assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach both theoretical and practical aviation subjects.
- Review and enhance curriculum, teaching methods, and assessments.
- Conduct exams, assess student performance, and provide feedback.
- Support and mentor students throughout their training.
- Develop teaching materials and hands-on training activities.
- Stay updated with CASA Part 66, EASA Part 66, and Australian Aeroskills training regulations.
- Maintain compliance with ASQA, OH&S, and company policies.
- Travel domestically and internationally when required.
What We're Looking For
Strong aviation background as an AME or LAME with a passion for training.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Knowledge of CASA and/or EASA regulations.
Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment .
Strong attention to detail and ability to assess student competency.
Benefits of this role:
- Base Salary of $120.000 + Super
- Monday to Friday Days only (0900 - 1600)
- Extra annual leave provided
- Training will be provided to obtain Cert IV in Training and Assessment, if not already held.
