Cox Purtell is currently working with a peak body association representing healthcare practitioners nationally in Australia. They're a member organisation with branches in every state and territory, and their main aim is to support members by enhancing their ability to provide safe, high quality professional health care.
They're now looking to hire a membership services officers to join their wider Advocacy, Media and Professional Services team, and the main focus of this role is to provide exceptional, proactive customer service, immaculate database maintenance and administration, mailing, and reporting. It's a varied role that provides member interaction in addition to a wide variety of administrative tasks - perfect for a customer service or general administrative professional to further develop and hone their skills.
The successful candidate will be a team player, have a keen eye for detail (a large focus of the role is ensuring the maintenance of accurate membership data), the ability to multi-task and prioritise - managing deadlines with the wider team, and a passion for building both internal and external relationships.
Main areas of responsibility include:

* Provide an exceptional level of customer service experience - supporting members and resolving member support enquires promptly and accurately.
* Support the broader Membership & Professional Services team in reaching membership and engagement strategy KPIs.
* Maintain CRM database ensuring information is current and aligned with requirements.
* Conduct regular audits of database records to ensure completeness and accuracy.
* Pro-actively identify issues, errors and risks related to membership data and related systems.
* Manage membership renewals processes - ensuring accurate billing & member information.
* Provide accurate reporting and insights as required and in line with required deadlines.
* Understand and identify improvements in membership and data processes and systems to build organisational capability.
* Champion a high standard of communication with internal external stakeholders.
Your Profile:
The successful candidate will be passionate about pursuing a career in administration, and hold a minimum of 2 years' experience in a customer service and/or admin position, ideally in a membership or association role.
* Proactive approach, with a willingness to use initiative to work and address issues.
* Strong time management and high attention to detail whilst working to deadlines.
* Excellent telephone manner and written communication skills, able to communicate with a range of audiences.
* Team Player with a flexible and positive 'can do' attitude
* Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (especially EXCEL) and working knowledge of CRMs
* IT-savvy skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve minor database issues
* Proficiency with Zoom and Teams
* Results oriented and self-driven
* Demonstrated capacity to work independently and deliver outcomes on time and to standard
