ATT Logistics (ATT) are currently seeking to engage the services of a TRANSPORT PLANNER / TRANSPORT ALLOCATOR to effectively plan and execute deliveries to meet agreed service and quality standards and would suit an experienced planner/scheduler/ allocator in a mid-sized transport network.

THE ROLE

The Transport Planner / Allocator must effectively plan and manage the delivery schedule in order that all contractual obligations are met in a safe, timely manner (DIFOT); within a fast-paced, highly efficient team.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE

  • Determine and arrange the daily schedule and vehicle requirements according to volume and requirements
  • Liaising with customers for load requirements ensuring enough time is allocated for staging and loading
  • Promoting a safe, positive work environment and aligning with all management objectives and values
  • Ensuring key service objectives are met
  • Manage and utlise assets in the most cost-effective manner
  • Understand and meet all legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Utilise exceptional interpersonal skills to actively collaborate with the wider ATT team and customers
  • Have the ability to adapt easily, and think outside the box when there are problems
  • Continually improve the service delivery for the customer

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU WILL NEED

  • Previous experience within the transport sector at a similar level, preferably FMCG
  • Geographical knowledge of Brisbane
  • The ability to solve issues with outside-of-the-box thinking, and ultimately contribute to ATT’s continued expansion
  • A results-driven individual who is resilient, adaptable, with a positive mindset, and a high level of integrity (at ATT we expect that you do what is right, and do what you promise)
  • The ability to handle various projects simultaneously and independently
  • Current Covid vaccinations and a medical will all be required for this role
