Hastings CCK is a small, independent, family-owned early learning service. We are seeking applications from individuals who are interested in working as an Educator at our service. About the position
As an Educator your role will be to support the team to provide an environment that is responsive to the individual strengths, abilities, and interests of all children, including those with a disability and/or additional support needs.

Skills and experience relevant to the position:
- Warm caring personality to establish trusting, happy relationships with children and families.

- Ability to work in a team environment and be a creative and cooperative team player.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to complete observation documentation
- Good organisational skills.
- Knowledge of EYLF + NQS and a commitment to excellence in early childhood to provide high-quality care and education.
- Ability to deliver quality education programs, daily routines including intentional teaching and spontaneous experiences that meet the needs and interests of each individual child.
- Ability to help implement the program planned for the children in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
- Experience working with preschool children and/or in a preschool setting would be an advantage.

Key requirements:
- An approved Certificate III In Early Childhood Education And Care or must be trained or actively working towards a qualification.
- A demonstrated interest in children and their development
- First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
- Working with children check
- Police check with 6 months relevancy
- Working rights- Visa / Passport
- Photo ID or drivers license
- Proof of COVID Vaccine (at least 1st dose) or booking for vaccine.
Job Type: This is a Casual Position. Hours will vary based on the service needs and available shifts.
