Southern Employment & Training Network (SETN) is part of the Tasmanian Government’s Regional Jobs Hub Network.
Our mission is to increase employment opportunities, participation, and access to training for people living in the Huon Valley, Channel, and Bruny Island region.
We strive to do this by connecting our local community to inclusive and effective training, skill development opportunities and real job vacancies within our region.

Your opportunity
You will provide tailored support to guide jobseekers into meaningful employment and/ or training and education - including job coaching, career guidance, and job matching. You will also liaise with employers to promote SETN, provide supports and connections to services for local employers, liaise with employers regarding vacancies and job creation to create sustainable employment within our region.
Our ideal candidate

extensive knowledge of the Huon Valley and Kingborough municipal areas

is community minded

has proven recruitment, business development, employment services, or training and education work related experience or a high level of demonstrated knowledge in one or more of these areas

has excellent interpersonal skills

can work autonomously and under own initiative

a driver’s license and car
