The core capability requirements for this role are:

  • Liaise with the business and technical teams to prioritise and negotiate delivery expectations.
  • Contribute to design and implementation, and design reviews for proposed and existing technologies with a focus on the development of automation and innovation across the team to realise efficiencies.
  • Provide process governance, guidance, mentoring and advice to staff and coordinate and manage the Agile (SCRUM) teams, escalating quality issues to the relevant Manager.
  • Drive the use of the Agile methodology within the organisation, by coaching and mentoring Agile team members in the methodology, practices, tools and processes.
  • Assist with the maturation of Application development procedures to promote sustainable system development activities and encourage greater knowledge sharing and retention.
  • Contribute to a dynamic environment, identify risks and issues and provide regular reports to senior management on internal release team metrics including release progress.

Role Requirements:

Qualification

  • Scrum Master Certification would be highly desirable

Technical/ Operational/ Educational experience:

Highly Desirable

  • Knowledge in all phases of the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Knowledge of the Agile methodology
  • Experience with managing Cross Functional Agile teams
  • Experience with Atlassian JIRA, or another Agile or sprint management tool

Desirable

  • Knowledge of developing within a Secure Software Development Lifecycle
  • Knowledge of PRINCE2
  • Experience with Azure Devops.
