At St Hilda's, we are committed to fostering a supportive and dynamic environment for our community. We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team on a part-time 0.5FTE basis.
Role Overview:
As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for managing and processing all accounts payable transactions. This included ensuring timely and accurate payments, maintaining precise records, and supporting financial reporting. You will collaborate with vendors, internal departments, and team members to ensure efficient financial operations.
K ey Responsibilities:

Invoice Management: Accurately review, verify, and process invoices, ensuring they are properly documented and approved.

Payment Processing: Prepare and execute payments to vendors, managing schedules to ensure timely disbursements.

Vendor Relations: Maintain positive relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving discrepancies.

Account Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements and ensure accounts payable records are accurate and complete.

Compliance: Ensure all transactions comply with company policies and maintain organized records.
Skills and Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle challenging situations.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work well within a team and manage time efficiently.

Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role is preferred.
