Job description:
Position Title: Senior Cost Controller
- 2 Year Employee Max Term
- Perth Based
- Monday - Friday
We are seeking a Senior Cost Controller to join our INPEX Development team in Perth. Join us in helping shape a brighter energy future.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage key internal stakeholder relationships required in the full lifecycle of Projects, including
- Offshore and Onshore project management
- Early Development project personnel (Engineering, FA, Risk & Assurance)
- Project Controls (Contracts, Planning, Cost Estimation, IM)
- Other internal stakeholders, incl JV Management, Strategy & Planning, Legal, HR, C&ET, Corporate Affairs & Finance.
- Responsible for a wide array of cost management activities for Early Development projects under the supervision of the Cost Lead.
- Preparation and management of each Project's Work Program & Budget (WP&B), Authorisation for Expenditure (Single or Multi-year) and Forecasting
- Management of each Project's Final Cost Forecast (FCF)
- Monitor, investigate and control Project Cost Trends, Risks & Opportunities
- FTE planning, analysis, reporting and & commentary
- Support the progression through the IVAS framework of Early Development Projects, including cost inputs for
- Project Development Plan
- Project Execution Plan
- Decision Support Package
- Peer and Assurance Reviews
Successful candidates will:
- Significant experience within the Oil & Gas or Resources sector is essential. (Specifically a Major Capital Project environment)
- Demonstrable experience in the management and execution of multi-disciplinary projects.
- Bachelor or Post Graduate Degree in either Engineering or Business.
- PMP Certified is desirable but not essential
- Required Skills: Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced), SAP (experienced), PowerBI, EcoSys (or other Cost Management System), basic MS Office Applications
