Description:
Latitude Recruitment is recruiting Social Support Group Assistants on behalf of Rural Northwest Health. In this position you will be responsible for participating in the delivery of engaging group activities at Rural Northwest Health’s Warracknabeal, Hopetoun or Beulah campuses. The program supports community members to maintain and enhance their physical, social and emotional wellbeing. Alongside the Social Support Group Team Leader, this role will see you foster quality relationships with our consumers and team members, ensuring the successful delivery of a meaningful Social Support Program.
Theses are casual positions based at the Warracknabeal, Hopetoun and Beulah campuses.
To be successful in this position you will have:
- Certificate lll in Aged Care, Allied Health Assistant or equivalent, or working towards completion
- Genuine interest in working with older persons, or people with a disability
- Understanding of person-centered care principles and Aged Care Quality Standards
- Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
- First aid certificate
- Driver’s licence
- Immunisation History
- Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one
- Current and valid Police Clearance
- Current NDIS Check or willingness to obtain one
