The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join our RPA (Project Management and Advisory) operating unit on a full-time, 9–12 month contract . You’ll work closely with our CEO and senior stakeholders to provide pragmatic legal and commercial advice that supports business growth while safeguarding the organisation’s interests.
What you’ll be doing

Providing legal guidance on commercial matters and contracts

Support internal stakeholders in negotiating client, supplier, and sub-consultant agreements

Contribute to the implementation of legal initiatives across the business

Assist with corporate governance, reporting, and risk management

Act as a key legal partner in business planning and operational decisions

Maintain legal review tools and registers, including GPT/AI-enabled platforms
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including tax, insurance, people and HSSEQ
What We’re Looking For

5–7 years post-admission legal experience

Admitted to practice law in Australia (or eligible for admission)

Strong background in commercial and contract law

High attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities

Professional presence with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders
