About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join the team in our Karratha Branch. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for managing the accurate receipt and inspection of all inbound freight deliveries, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of customer orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and upholding cleanliness standards in the warehouse.

Additionally, you will provide leadership, mentorship, and training to warehouse staff, promoting a culture aligned with ATOM's Golden Rule and values. You will also be accountable for aligning warehouse performance with ATOM's strategic objectives and ensuring compliance with ATOM's Work Health & Safety policy.

Your key responsibilities will be;

  • Manage the accurate receipt and inspection of all inbound freight deliveries.

  • Identify and resolve any issues with quarantined or incorrectly supplied goods promptly.

  • Ensure the accurate and timely picking, packing, and dispatch of customer orders to achieve 100% customer satisfaction.

  • Take responsibility for stock management and inventory accuracy.

  • Conduct timely completion of scheduled stocktake and cyclic count activities.

  • Maintain the warehouse to a high standard of cleanliness.

  • Implement and monitor scheduled cleaning rosters and cleanliness principles continually.

  • Provide general supervision and leadership to all warehouse staff.

  • Mentor, develop, and train staff on warehouse duties.

  • Create and nurture a culture where everyone understands and behaves according to ATOM's Golden Rule and values.

  • Ensure warehouse performance aligns with the performance measures set by ATOM.

  • Manage the daily operations of the warehouse in adherence to ATOM's WH&S policy.

This is a hands-on role and will require the successful applicant to be able to have strong knowledge of all Warehouse processes and be able to assist the team where and when required.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role.

  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on leading by example.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve targets and goals.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management practices.

  • Commitment to upholding safety standards and compliance with WH&S policies.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
