Position summaryThe Rostering Coordinator plays a key role in scheduling services for our clients so they can continue to live in their homes.
They are responsible for connecting our Home and Community care clients and support workers to deliver support. This is a vital role that improves the quality of our services and employment experience by supporting and working with our stakeholders.
This position will be contracted on a permanent full time basis and is based across various Cultura work locations.
Duties
- Compilation and production of fortnightly rosters which provide sustainable and meaningful work to the team;
- Coordination of day-to-day changes arising from staffing needs;
- Arrange replacement staff to cover sick and other planned and unplanned absences;
- Daily contact with support workers and clients, providing prompt and positive customer service and direction;
- Allocating staff with the right skills and experience to deliver the best quality care and support to each client;
- Organising staff rosters to minimize changes to the service and travel between client’s homes;
- Responding efficiently to day-to-day changes in the care and support packages;
- Assisting with answering incoming calls for the service and making calls to clients, staff and service providers;
- Supporting Care Managers and Home Support Workers.
Essential
- Previous rostering and administration experience;
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a wide range of people;
- Exceptional customer service skills, including key phone mannerisms;
- Ability to be innovative and solution focused;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Great organisational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks;
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Desirable
- Experience within the Aged, Community Care or Disability sectors;
- CareLink+ experience;
- Current Victorian Driver Licence.
