Our Sea Lake Operations in north-west Victoria are currently seeking a qualified Maintenance Coordinator to lead our Maintenance team. Sea Lake is a town in the Mallee district of north-west Victoria and is situated along the southern shores of the beautiful Lake Tyrell. The town is located 351kms north-west of Melbourne, and 70kms west of Swan Hill, in the heart of Australia’s wheat belt and part of the beautiful silo trail.

The role
Reporting to the site your key accountabilities will include:
• Develop all work instructions as required for preventative maintenance & repairs on all plant & equipment at Sea Lake.
• Perform relevant work requested by Site Management.
• Maintain, service and modify plant at Sea Lake as required.
• Supervise & provide positive leadership to staff within the maintenance team.
• Fault finding and problem solving.
• Reporting items of plant requiring maintenance.
• Perform some maintenance tasks within skills and competence.
• Requisition supplies required to perform the above through the established processes.
• Inventory management & conduct spare parts stock takes.
• Scope and cost out work required or as requested by Site Management.
• Attend site call outs as required.
• Work toward breakdown prevention and general improvements.
• Work on Capital projects as required.
• To promote a safe working environment.
• To promote a feeling of wellbeing, safety and job satisfaction to all staff.
• Comply with all relevant Acts and Regulations covering safety and environment.

About you
To be considered for this role you must have the following:
• Higher School Certificate or equivalent.
• Electrical or Mechanical Trade Qualifications essential.
• Computer skills - proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Hydraulic and Pneumatic skills.
• Forklift licence (well regarded).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, & background checks, including police check
