The opportunity
This position assists the Cyber Security Specialist in protecting CHW information systems, data and networks from security breaches, cyber threats, and unauthorised access.
The position assists in delivering and maintaining the Cyber Security standing within CHW. This role is to assist in delivering optimisation, risk management, and benefits realisation for all Cyber Security assets and services.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Relevant qualifications and experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in best practices within the Cyber Security environment leveraging such frameworks as Victorian Protective Data Security Framework (VPDSF), and the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM) standards recommendations.
- Motivated and conscientious self-starter with understanding of championing a culture of continuous improvement - proactively identifying and securing systems, services, processes and driving the use of smart technology to help drive business and investing in Cyber Security performance to secure and mitigate risks.
- Understanding of cyber security, risk, and audit practices as they pertain to IT Operational services.
- Advanced knowledge in security software/hardware configuration for firewalls, Microsoft 365, email gateways and vulnerability scanners.
- Well-developed logical problem-solving skills, organisational and administrative abilities.
