Are you an organised and detail-oriented professional looking for a role in production coordination? We are seeking a Production Coordinator to join our team in Coburg North and play a key role in ensuring smooth production processes and excellent customer service.
About the Role:
As a Production Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing orders, scheduling production, and ensuring timely turnaround of manufacturing processes. You will work closely with the Operations Manager, factory staff, and suppliers to maintain efficiency while delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Order Management: Enter orders and check measures into Insyte ERP (training provided)
✅ Scheduling & Production Coordination: Generate work orders and schedule production while ensuring availability of stock
✅ Factory Floor Interaction: Produce worksheets, liaise with factory teams daily, and update jobs at the end of the day
✅ Customer Support: Assist customers with enquiries, providing professional and prompt service
✅ Component Ordering: Once trained, take on the responsibility of ordering components as requested by the factory teams
What We're Looking For:
✔ Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
✔ Strong communication skills - verbal and written
✔ Highly organised with a keen eye for detail and ability to think critically about orders
✔ Ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure orders are scheduled efficiently
✔ Proactive decision-making within system limits (avoiding overbooking and ensuring stock availability)
