East Wimmera Health Service (EWHS) is a fully accredited small rural health service across five campuses encompassing the five communities of Birchip, Charlton, Donald, St Arnaud and Wycheproof, in North Western Victoria.
Opportunities are available with East Wimmera Health Service as it services the community by managing the Commonwealth Home Support Program in the Buloke Shire.
Applications are now open for Home Care Support Workers to provide domestic and personal assistance to consumers within the Buloke Shire.
Applicants will possess an empathetic and caring attitude in providing care and support that enhances the ability of and encourages consumers to actively participate in their care to maintain their independence.
Applicants will possess Minimum Certificate III in Home and Community Services, Aged Care or Disability Services Individual Support or equivalent, or be willing to work towards obtaining.
Travel within the Shire is required so a current Victorian driver’s licence is essential
