About The Facility
Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.
About The Role
As the Clinical/Health/Counselling Psychologist, you will be responsible for delivering psychological assessments and consumer-centred interventions within Barwon Health’s Early Parenting Centre (EPC). This role ensures that families receive contemporary, evidence-based psychology services, supporting both consumers and their families while linking them to community resources within the Barwon region.
You will also provide secondary consultation to the Nursing and multidisciplinary team within the EPC, as well as to professionals involved in the family’s care prior to their engagement with the EPC. Your expertise in psychological issues related to parenting and attachment will help maximise the effectiveness of interventions, supporting families to achieve positive outcomes.
