Based at GrainCorp’s manufacturing site in Numurkah, we are seeking an enthusiastic and focused Loading Operator to join the Logistics team on a full-time, casual basis.
Working in a team the purpose of this role is to ensure the loading and unloading of all food grade bulk oil and meal (animal feed) deliveries are completed – using your initiative to direct trucks to the right destination, whilst continually providing a high level of customer service. You will deal with external customers, suppliers and transport drivers as well as internal stakeholders in the Quality, Maintenance, Refinery, Production and SHE teams.
The Loading Operator will also provide support in weighbridge operations, sampling, inspecting tankers and be responsible for general housekeeping combined with a high regard for personal hygiene.
About your experienceYou will present with experience within the warehousing and/or transport environment combined with a solid background within a Logistics role. You will thrive on being challenged and be able to adapt to a changing environment. You will have excellent listening skills and demonstrate exceptional ability to articulate with internal and external stakeholders. Your ability to take action, solve problems and work autonomously as well as a in a supportive team environment will make you successful in this role.
In addition, you will also fulfil the following requirements:
Forklift license – preferredBobcat and Loader License – desirableMicrosoft Office – Excel – intermediate level
