Having just embarked on our ambitious new strategy, LN Next, now is the perfect time to join our team as we continue working to provide our customers with our unique and tailored services and programs.

Funded by Sport and Recreation Victoria, the All-Abilities Workforce and Sector Support Program is a once-in-a-generation program designed to influence systems change to level the playing field for people with disability, to create meaningful and lasting change. We are currently seeking a Program Coordinator to take a leading role in the implementation of this program, working from our HQ in Geelong and a home office. This is a fixed-term position to 30 June 2027 (subject to government funding).

Your New Role!

If you are passionate about inclusion in sport, then this is the role for you! The Program Coordinator will be responsible for providing day-to-day operational support in the implementation of our All-Abilities Workforce Sector Support Program. The role will support and mentor a team of Inclusion Coaches, encompassing regular catch-ups and supervisions and daily operational support, in addition to assisting with the recruitment and induction of new team members.

The Program Coordinator will be a trusted partner working closely with Regional Sports Assemblies and Disability Sport & Recreation Victoria to distribute resources to Inclusion Coaches and promote the successful implementation of the project, with the aim of achieving a more inclusive and sustainable sport and recreation sector in Regional Victoria.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Qualifications in Sports or a related field, alongside previous experience working in a sports-related industry, ideally with a community health and/or disability lens (highly desirable)
  • The ability to travel frequently across the state, at times with limited notice
  • An understanding of the sports ecosystem in Regional Victoria, sector trends and the ability to understand program logic and methodology
  • Experience leading people and teams in a remote setting
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrated experience presenting data and insights to multiple stakeholders in various formats, such as verbal communication, presentations and report writing
  • A proactive and solution-focused mindset, with a keen interest in learning and professional growth
  • Highly developed organisational skills, with a proven background in setting and achieving priorities whilst managing competing demands
  • Demonstrated experience using flexibility and initiative and working under limited direction
  • A customer-focused approach, with a proven ability to develop positive working relationships both face-to-face and remotely
  • Financial acumen and the ability to understand and work within financial budgets
