This is an opportunity for a passionate History and Geography teacher to join a progressive and supportive school community. Terms and conditions of employment
This position is a role of 0.6 FTE for Term 2, 3 & 4, 2025.
AppointmentCommencing Term 2, 2025 (or by negotiation).
Qualifications
-
Qualified to teach Stage 4-6 HSIE (ability to teach another KLA, particularly English, would be an advantage).

Relevant education qualifications including a current NESA accreditation.

Experience teaching HSIE and/or English in Stages 4 and 5.

Extensive pedagogical knowledge base and understanding

A variety of effective teaching strategies that engage students of varying abilities

Sound understanding of the learning environments, unit design, lesson plans, use of technology, teaching practices and design of assessment and feedback

Committed to the continual improvement of their teaching practice

Able to motivate students to achieve and to develop a life-long love of learning
