About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and technically minded professional to join our dynamic Support and Technical Services team. The Software & Systems Support Consultant plays a key role in delivering first and second-level support for BusinessCraft’s ERP software, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction for our customers.
This is a dual role, combining external application support with internal IT coordination. You’ll work closely with customers to resolve support requests, assist with training and documentation, and contribute to testing and deployment activities in collaboration with our Professional Services and R&D teams. Internally, you’ll manage and coordinate IT and network tasks with our IT service providers to keep our systems secure and running smoothly.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys solving problems, working with software, and supporting both customers and colleagues across the business.
Occasional local travel may be required.
Skills and Experience
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in software support, IT systems, or ERP environments who is looking to grow in a diverse and hands-on role. We're looking for someone who is proactive, customer-focused, and thrives on problem-solving. Ideally, you’ll bring the following skills and experience:

Exposure to the residential building and/or construction industry (preferred but not essential)

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail

A genuine interest in software and technology, with a desire to understand how systems work and how they can be improved

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application, system, and network issues

Confidence working with customers to understand needs and provide practical solutions

Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users clearly and professionally

Experience with system testing, software deployment, and documentation

Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Windows environments, and basic Azure administration

Exposure to SQL, proprietary or similar database environments

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team

Willingness to learn and continuously improve knowledge of software and IT systems
