Your role will be to assist with ensuring the Centre provides the highest quality care and education for children aged between 6 weeks to 6 years, build strong relationships with families and be a role model of best practice to our team of dedicated Educators.
As an Assistant Director your role will entail:

Assist with managing the daily operations of the Centre in line with legislative requirements, Company expectations, policies and procedures;

Develop positive and open professional relationships with families, children and staff
-
Provide strong leadership, support and guidance to all educators
-
Ensure our Centre provides high quality education, development and care to the children
-
Assist with managing the financial requirements of the Centre in line with budget guidelines
-
Assist with Roster Management and attendances
-
Assist with ensuring the Centre is compliant with all Centre policies, State Legislation and National Quality Standards
-
Assist with ensuring all Health & Safety standards are maintained in accordance with legislation and Company standards
-
Keep regularly informed about the NQF, NQS and the current National Regulations plus current thinking, research and practice while implementing the EYLF
-
Assist with the implementation of new initiatives to encourage increased occupancy
As an Educational Leader your role will entail:
-
Experience as an Educational Leader is preferred but not essential for the right candidate
-
Help guide the team in providing the highest quality of Early Childcare Education in line with the NQF and EYLF.

Mentor all staff members across the Service and assist with career development and professional growth
-
Ensuring excellent verbal and written communication skills to share with your team and the families within our Service.
About you:
-
A Bachelor of Education/Teaching in Early Childhood or Diploma in Early Childhood
-
Highly organised with the ability to multi-task
-
Have a high level working knowledge of EYLF, NQS and QIP
-
Ability to 'think on your feet' to adapt and deliver strategies within the Centre to support staff and families
-
Passion for early childhood education
-
Skills to lead and mentor other educators, motivating them to excel as you deliver care and educational programs
-
Strong customer relationships
-
Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and CPR Certificates
-
Child Protection Certificate
-
Hold a current Working with Children Check
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
