As the first point of contact for young people accessing our services, you’ll play a key role in guiding them on their journey to better mental health. You’ll provide high-quality assessments and evidence-based therapeutic interventions, each one tailored to meet the unique needs of the young people you work with. What will you do?

  • Conduct psychosocial assessments and screenings for young people referred to headspace

  • Foster long-term engagement with clients, ensuring they receive the care they need

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to drive the ongoing success of the centre

  • Advocate for young people’s needs and coordinate their care across services

  • Get involved in building community awareness, education, and training initiatives

What do you need?

  • Qualifications in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, nursing, drug and alcohol work, youth work, mental health, or other relevant fields for providing clinical interventions

  • Experience in conducting clinical assessments of young people facing mental health or drug and alcohol challenges

  • Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary healthcare team

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with young people

  • A solid understanding of technology and clinical software packages
