As the first point of contact for young people accessing our services, you’ll play a key role in guiding them on their journey to better mental health. You’ll provide high-quality assessments and evidence-based therapeutic interventions, each one tailored to meet the unique needs of the young people you work with. What will you do?
-
Conduct psychosocial assessments and screenings for young people referred to headspace
-
Foster long-term engagement with clients, ensuring they receive the care they need
-
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to drive the ongoing success of the centre
-
Advocate for young people’s needs and coordinate their care across services
-
Get involved in building community awareness, education, and training initiatives

What do you need?

Qualifications in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, nursing, drug and alcohol work, youth work, mental health, or other relevant fields for providing clinical interventions

Experience in conducting clinical assessments of young people facing mental health or drug and alcohol challenges

Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with young people

A solid understanding of technology and clinical software packages
