Description:
Fire and Safety Australia is seeking expressions of interest from highly skilled and experienced Paramedics to join our team in the Dubbo/Wagga/Yass Region of NSW on a full-time or casual basis. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients, conducting drug and alcohol testing, and responding to incidents.
These roles are on a 2:2 roster . Local candidates are preferred, but accommodation is available for those who require it. Salary range for permanent role is $65-$70 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Responding to emergency calls and providing medical assistance to patients
- Conducting drug and alcohol testing as required
- Working effectively as a sole responder at times in emergency situations
- Collaborating with other emergency services personnel during incidents
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
Qualifications:
- Registered Paramedic
- ALS (Advanced Life Support) certification
- Experience as a sole responder
- Proficiency in drug and alcohol testing procedures
- TAE certification (desirable)
- Familiarity with road crash rescue
