About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic Relief Manager to provide Operational support across our Ingenia Gardens Residential Communities. Ingenia Communities is an ASX listed company that has locations throughout the east coast of Australia with a great range of development opportunities This role could be a chance to build a career with highly successful and innovative employer.
This is a multi-site opportunity that will be based in New South Wales, with the sites being predominately Goulburn, Bathurst, Wagga Wagga (and other sites in NSW/QLD as required). The Relief Manager is responsible for relieving our Community Managers or our Village Cooks in times of absence, including the day-to-day management of the Community, asset enhancement, financial and people management, resident satisfaction, risk and legislative compliance. When you are relieving the Village Cook this role would also require you to be able to plan and prepare meals for 20-40 residents daily and maintain our Food Safety standards within the kitchen.
Depending on the site location, this role will require you to live away from home, in company provided accommodation. This is a role that will require you to have your own vehicle, however we do pay a travel allowance.

Key Accountabilities
Ensure the Community is always providing quality services to residents in line with industry best practice and/or as directed by managementEnsure the Community is presented to a high standard by attending to cleaning / upkeep and Community building/kitchen cleanliness and complianceManage staff, residents and visitors who attend the CommunityConduct and report on site audits (including kitchen) to ensure the appropriate standards are being maintainedProvide support to residents by ensuring their health and wellbeing is a key focusActively strive to increase occupancy in line with budgetsEngage key community contacts to promote the Community and drive business outcomes. Support the resident community in the delivery of resident-initiated social groups and eventsFood Ordering, Receiving, Preparation and ServiceCleaning and Sanitation Relationship management with residents and the Community Manager Teamwork with Ingenia colleagues Workplace Health and Safety responsibilities
About You
Current "C" class drivers’ licence (site dependent)Excellent administrative, financial controls and practicesAbility to identify problem areas and to use initiative and effective communication skills to resolve these issuesAbility to respond well to emergency situationsConfident and proficient at reasoning with peopleAbility to work without supervision and problem solveEither currently qualified or willing to complete Food Safety Accreditation training
