Our partner is a medium sized successful family-owned business in the commercial and industrial equipment sector that was established in the early 1980's. The family are passionate to ensure that the business continues to be successful for future generations without compromising their philosophies & values.

The Role

This newly created position will provide the successful applicant the opportunity to shape national decision-making, develop and execute strategic sales plans, and drive revenue growth in New South Wales, ACT, Queensland, Tasmania, and Victoria. The National Sales Manager will lead a dynamic sales team to achieve ambitious targets, while ensuring profitability and streamlined cash flow. This role will be at the forefront of innovation, aligning sales outcomes with a visionary national plan.

With a national presence and sites in the major capital cities, the ideal candidate may be situated in Melbourne, Sydney or Albury.

This role offers a competitive salary package including incentives, commensurate with experience.

The Successful Team Member

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a similar role in a competitive sales environment encompassing direct and indirect sales channels and team members in multiple locations with a strong focus on revenue growth

  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with experience in developing high-performance sales teams

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities effectively

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, in-person presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent knowledge in CRM software (HubSpot or Salesforce preferred), with the ability to leverage data for sales optimisation

  • Ability to travel interstate and regionally as needed

  • Tertiary qualified in a relevant field

The Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management Lead and inspire a national sales team to achieve excellence and drive business success.

  • Sales Strategy & Execution Create and implement strategic sales plans to drive growth and align with market trends.

  • Customer & Market Growth Expand customer networks and enhance strategies to boost engagement and retention.

  • Sales Process & Performance Optimisation Refine sales processes and collaborate with marketing to improve efficiency and outcomes.

  • Industry Engagement & Market Intelligence Stay ahead of market trends and represent the company at key industry events.

  • Compliance & General Responsibilities Ensure all sales activities comply with legal and company standards.
