About the RoleWe are looking for compassionate and reliable NDIS Support Workers to join our team. As an NDIS Support Worker, you will provide assistance to individuals with disabilities in their daily activities, community participation, and personal development. Your role will be crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients while upholding their dignity and independence.
Key Responsibilities- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Support clients in accessing the community, social activities, and appointments.
- Implement care plans and follow individualised support strategies.
- Provide emotional and social support to clients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and activities.
- Ensure compliance with NDIS standards and organisational policies.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A passion for supporting individuals with disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate, patient, and reliable approach to care.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Experience in disability support or a related field (preferred but not essential).
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- First Aid and CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Working with Children Check (if applicable).
- Valid Australian Driver’s License and reliable vehicle (preferred).
- COVID-19 vaccination (if required by government regulations).
