About the role
- Be a positive contributor to the team and deliver high quality education and care in accordance with National Quality Framework/CCC’s policies and procedures
- Use your knowledge and experience to develop and implement customised educational programs in line with the EYLF learning outcomes and individual needs and interests of children
- Support the team, assist with problem solving, and offer great ideas to keep our activities fresh and relevant
- Build relationships with children, families and carers to make them feel welcome and connected in our education and care community
- Take a responsible and professional approach to supervision of children and their overall wellbeing
- Complete relevant documentation and administration associated with the position
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Certificate III in Education and Care
- Current First Aid Certificate including CPR & Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management (HLTAID012 or equivalent)
- Current Working with Children Check
- Drive and passion for delivering exceptional education and care to children

Other important information
- This role provides a competitive salary from 61.8k per annum dependent on skills and experience + 11.5% superannuation.
- This position is located at Umina Childrens Centre.
- Successful candidates will be required to undertake a course of vaccinations against Hepatitis A and B, Tetanus (Boostrix), MMR and Varicella or demonstrate their immunity. CMV screening will be required.
- Council will be creating an eligibility list from this recruitment process and may utilise this eligibility list to fill other permanent or temporary vacancies.
