Dorchester IT is expanding our team of Software Developers. We are seeking the same qualities that have made our traditional developers so successful.
Ideally the successful applicant will easily be able to commute to and work from one of our office locations at either Newport (Sydney’s Northern Beaches), Toowoomba, Inverell, Goondiwindi, Kingscliff.

About you:
The most important qualities the successful applicant will possess are;
Highly enhanced ability to:
1. Communicate and relate to customers and colleagues
2. Understand the customer’s business and the objectives that have to be met
3. Design and specify solutions that will meet those objectives
4. Be endowed with deep curiosity and worth ethic
Technical skills will include:
High proficiency in our technology stack of:
1. Dotnet core
2. ASP.NET (Razor and Blazor)
3. Microsoft SQL Server
4. Ling
5. xUnit
Other required skills that must be shown that you can do these to be successful:
· Proven experience in DevOps and Agile methodologies
· Proficiency in scripting and automation tools for CI and CD
· Strong understanding of Clean Code principles, Domain-Driven Design, and other best practices
· Proficiency in automated testing at the unit, UI, and integration testing.
Highly desirable skills – ideally being able to demonstrate two or more of the below:
· Knowledge of Secure Development practices, or DevSecOps
· Experience with both on-premises and cloud native systems
· Extensive use and implementation of design patterns
· Application of Requirements Engineering frameworks and processes
· Use of DAST and SAST frameworks
