Description:
Stanwell Park Preschool is a stand alone, small 25 place centre for 2-5 year olds. Our Philosophy is play-based learning with a strong nature pedagogy focus. We have a large leafy playground, a beautiful indoor environment and abundance of nature surrounding preschool - the bush/beach is only a few steps away. We regularly take the children on bush walks or visit our bush kinder site located nearby - where children can climb trees and discover nature . We visit our local Aged Care residents, as we believe in fostering intergenerational relationships.
We are seeking educators who enjoy nature, the outdoors and don't mind getting a little dirty or messy, to join our team.
The role/s:

Collaborate with a small team of professional colleagues to create enriching learning environments

Develop & maintain positive culturally respectful relationships with families, children and staff

Demonstrated knowledge and ability to effectively observe, facilitate learning experiences, and plan for groups and individual children

Create experiences and activities with the abundance of resources available at your fingertips (provided and replenished regularly by the owner)

Ability or willingness to learn how to develop strategies to guide positive children's behaviour

Work with a friendly and supportive management team - who are hands on

Be available to work full or part time - there is flexibility with shifts offered around work/life balance

Guaranteed 2 week's off over Christmas Holiday period during service closure.

Must be willing to attend paid staff meetings once monthly out of usual working hours.
About You:

Must hold a Diploma or Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education & Care (ACECQA).

Current Working with Children's Check.

Demonstrated knowledge of the National Quality Framework: National Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

Current 1st Aid and ACECQA-approved Anaphylaxis and emergency asthma Management training or willingness to obtain.

Relevant Child Protection Training or willingness to obtain.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
