About the role
CareSouth After Hours Service (AHS) operates as a part of the Corporate Services team providing professional advice and support outside of business hours to the wider organisation. The AHS Worker has technical knowledge of all facets of CareSouth and is able to respond to enquiries from staff, the local community and the general public. This position also assists with rostering and incident reporting requiring a dynamic, proactive individual with strong problem solving ability. You will get to experience the best of both worlds by joining a passionate team whilst also having the opportunity to work autonomously.
Most shifts will take place outside of normal business hours and will include weekends and public holidays.
The successful applicant will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and autonomously.
- Advanced computer literacy.
- Ability to complete complex priorities or tasks, remaining calm and focused.
- Have a courteous, clear and professional communication style.
- Willing to work a flexible 24/7 roster including evenings and weekends.
- A Current First Aid Certificate
