Description:
Location : Port Macquarie, NSW
Hours : 20 hours/week, including a mix of before/after school shifts, weekends, school holidays, and occasional night shifts.
Salary : Paid according to the NDIS schedule fees.
Key Responsibilities :

Implement therapy plans : Follow detailed therapy plans and provide tailored support under the guidance of allied health professionals.

Assist with daily activities and personal care : Helping with activities of daily living and ensuring the child’s personal needs are met.

Track progress : Monitor the child’s progress and adjust the support as needed to ensure the best outcomes.

Maintain a safe environment : Ensuring the child’s safety at all times and maintaining a clean and secure home environment.
Requirements :

Personal traits : Calm, engaging demeanor with the ability to connect with children, particularly those with disabilities.

Physical fitness : Must be able to keep up with an active child, as the role involves some physical demands.

NDIS paperwork : Willingness to complete necessary paperwork related to NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) services.

Certifications : Must be able to obtain certifications like WWCC (Working With Children Check) and First Aid.

Shift work : Availability to work across a range of shifts, including AM, PM, and active night shifts.

Driver’s license & reliable transport : Required for travel to and from the family’s home.
