About usheadspace provides support to young people aged 12-25 experiencing mild to moderate or emerging mental health issues. We are creating multidisciplinary teams at headspace Shellharbour and Kiama, working to improve health, social, vocational and educational outcomes for young people.Grand Pacific Health is a not-for-profit, primary health care organisation and is the lead agency of both headspace centres. We provide locally-tailored, high quality physical and mental health services from 26 locations across NSW and the ACT.
About the positionThe Dietitian will improve nutritional outcomes for young people accessing headspace Shellharbour & Kiama. The role involves clinical dietetic, preventative health and nutrition interventions for the management of physical health and chronic disease conditions. The role will encompass the delivery of health promotion and nutrition services through both individual and group interventions. The position works closely with the headspace team, the person’s existing General Practitioner and GPH partner agencies.
This opportunity is available part-time (up to 15 hours), fixed term to 30 June 2026. The position will be based in our Shellharbour hub one day per week, with the option of an additional day based in headspace Kiama. Hours and days are negotiable.

We are looking for someone with:Full membership of the Dietitians’ Association of Australia (DAA)Demonstrated ability to provide individual nutrition management of clientsUnderstanding of the issues in delivering dietetics services to young people and people who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait IslanderExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including excellent time-management, prioritisation and planning skills
Experience in delivering dietetics services to people with eating disorders and neurodiverse young people is highly regarded.
