Aged Care Home Care Employee – Brisbane North

About the Opportunity:

We are looking for a special kind of person – a St Vincent’s kind of person. Someone who puts compassion, connection and caring for other people at the heart of everything they do.

An exciting opportunity exists for passionate Home Care Employee’s to join our St Vincent’s @ Home team Successful applicants will share a genuine desire to care and assist clients with a strong person-centred care focus.

Things that work for us:

  • Casual position available, with view to part-time permanent

  • Locations include suburbs north of Brisbane, Red Hill through to Morayfield. If residing on the far north of Brisbane, Caloundra can also be selected as a preferred location of work

  • Current Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle (mandatory - we pay you for kilometres)

  • Certificate III in Individual Support / Certificate III Aged Care and/or similar (desirable, only for some positions)

  • You will bring experience in any or all of following – cleaning, personal care, in home respite, daily living activities, customer service, team work and social support

  • A passion and ability to support the well-being of our in-home clients by providing professional, caring interactions and completing all tasks to a high standard

  • Observe and report changes in our client’s status with future well-being in mind

  • Provide care and support that directly contributes to ensuring our clients are able to live independently, safely and as happy as possible

  • Team work – attend meetings, report on and provide feedback on client wellbeing and input into the care plan

  • Follow relevant St Vincent’s procedures and policies

  • Previous experience with Procura or similar (desirable)
