Description:
We’re looking for a dynamic and organised individual to take on the role of State Programs Administrator , supporting and delivering impactful state-based rugby league and social impact projects that bring communities together.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Program Support & Administration
Assist in delivering statewide community rugby league programs, including scheduling, documentation, database management, and drafting and distributing stakeholder communications to ensure timely project delivery.
Events Coordination
Plan, coordinate, and support the delivery of events such as cultural carnivals, themed rounds, and recreational formats, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder/participant engagement.
Social Impact & Diversity Initiatives
Research, advise, and develop programs focused on diversity, inclusion, and social impact, including creating training and drafting news stories to distribute across the QRL network. Support the delivery and implementation of the QRL Reconciliation Action Plan.
Grant & Funding Opportunities
Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and secure government grants to support and expand social impact programs within our rugby league community.
Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with delivery partners and regional teams to align and enhance social impact initiatives across QLD.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE TO SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS

Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in project/program teams within community sports.

Skilled in coordinating projects, including scheduling, documentation, and stakeholder communication.

Experience in end-to-end event coordination and administration.

Passionate about delivering social impact initiatives that drive meaningful change.

Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

Comfortable working with diverse stakeholders to achieve defined outcomes.

Willingness to travel statewide and work outside standard Monday–Friday hours to support rugby league activities, a working with children's check QLD (Blue Card), or ability to get one and a valid driver's licence.

This is a permanent full-time position based in Milton. QRL remunerate based on the position to ensure gender pay equity in sport and the salary for this position is $70,000 per annum plus superannuation.
