About the opportunityReporting to the Regional Asset Manager, this role will ensure the condition and appearance of our facility are of the highest standard to provide a pleasant and safe environment for residents, staff and visitors. This includes:
- Maintain and enhance gardens, lawns, and outdoor areas to a high standard.
- Perform planting, pruning, weeding, mowing, and general landscaping tasks.
- Ensure all outdoor spaces are clean, safe, and visually appealing.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address gardening needs.
- Operate and maintain gardening equipment safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with the facility team to create outdoor spaces that support resident well-being.
- Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

- Proven experience in gardening, landscaping, or groundskeeping
- Knowledge of plants, flowers, and lawn care techniques
- Ability to use gardening tools and machinery safely
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks outdoors
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of working in environments with vulnerable populations (e.g., aged care)
- Current valid drivers' licence
- Evidence of Australian work rights
- NDIS Worker Screening/Yellow Card (or willing to obtain)
- Flu Vaccination (or willing to obtain)
- Evidence of x1 Covid-19 vaccinations
- A pre-employment medical assessment may be required for this role
