The Administrative Assistant's duties include providing sales administration support to various product lines as required. Given the role also requires receptionist duties, the incumbent must be multi-skilled with an ability to quickly assimilate new tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
More specifically your duties will include the following:

Receive and action general enquiries, freight quotes and sales orders by phone and email

Collate relevant paperwork and raise sales orders & warehouse requisitions.

Participate in sales & staff meetings if required.

Liaise with despatch, sales, and service departments.
-
Manage bin and stock transfers.
-
Confirm or fix errors in relation to electronic and hard copy documents.

Manage returns and credits.
-
Deal with customers and dealers and escalate as required.
In determining suitability for the role, the following criteria are considered essential:

Intermediate level of computer and technical skills in computer software including Enterprise Resource Planning Software and Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams

Skilled in the accurate transfer of critical data

Skilled at note taking

Skilled at negotiating difficult conversations

Knowledge of meeting procedures
The following criteria will be highly regarded:

Formal training/certification in administration

Administration experience in a manufacturing environment
