Join our dynamic team at Fulton Hogan Utilities as an Estimator for our Water Infrastructure Projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large tenders and engage in current program works under an ECI procurement model. In this role you'll be responsible for:Use of first principles to develop accurate estimates for Utility based projects, primarily focusing on water, and wastewater treatment and distributionObtain and review offers and quotes from subcontractors or vendorsBuild relationships with key stakeholders including subcontractors, suppliers, and design consultantsConduct research to gather data on labour costs, materials, production times, and moreLiaise with designers and suppliers to obtain information and calculate costsFollow and reinforce our established estimating processes to ensure internal governance and provide senior management with confidence in the tender price presented. How you'll connect to the role:Proven experience, and track record as an Estimator in a tier 1 environment (alternatively experience working on-site in the waste water or utility industry)Experience pricing large and small Water / Waste Water projects - ideally involving Utility InfrastructureFamiliarity with financial and project management principlesExperience in using Expert Estimator is desired, but not a requirementExperience in estimating O&M rates based opportunities will also be highly regardedAdopting and driving Fulton Hogan's Living Safely Culture.
