An Australian owned and operated business, we run all operations from our facility in Murarrie, which hosts our engineering/design department, production/assembly area, electronics workshop, sales office and warehouse.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced electronic technician to assist with our increasing workload. Applicants will have a comprehensive understanding of electronic device production, assembly processes, testing and rework. Exceptional soldering skills are a critical requirement, alongside previous experience in electronics plus operation of automated pick and place machinery.

Skills and experience
Candidates should possess the following skills:

Ability to manage the electronics assembly process and liaise with engineering as required.
This includes>

SMD and through hole assembly

Programming
-
Testing
-
Mechanical assembly of devices

Operation & maintenance of SMT production line equipment

Proficiency using electronic test equipment including multi-meters and multi-channel oscilloscopes

Ability to solder fine pitched SMT components
-
Ability to read and understand electronic schematics
-
Capacity to manage RMA and associated repair processes
-
Ability to review and make improvements to the production process

Support and development of other members in the assembly team

Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems

Strong attention to detail

Ability to interpret and monitor work orders

Be comfortable working to a project schedule
