TP Aerospace is a young and dynamic company operating in the aviation industry maintaining aircraft wheels and brakes. Headquarters is located in Copenhagen, Denmark with facilities operating all over the world in Europe, America, Asia and Australia.
AVAILABLE PERMANENT ROLE: Trades Assistant – Mechanical / Structural Aircraft Wheels.
Working from our facility at Hendra - Brisbane, you will become part of a strong multi-cultural team with approximately 9 experienced colleagues within one of the world’s leading Aircraft Wheel Maintenance Repair Organisations (MRO) that is approved by the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority - CASA.
The role consists of performing aircraft component maintenance activities such as disassembling aircraft wheels, inspection - greasing - installation of aircraft wheel bearings, inspection - greasing of aircraft nuts and bolts, working in our cleaning section which involves the cleaning, paint stripping and plastic media blasting of aircraft wheels and assisting component technicians as required maintaining aircraft wheels.
The ability to read and decipher aircraft component maintenance manual instructions is a requirement of the role however relevant training for the successful candidate will be provided.

As a trades assistant you will be learning and gaining experience in aircraft related maintenance activities which could lead to advancement into a Technician role.
YOUR PROFILE:
• Ever changed a wheel on a car? If you are interested in mechanical activities and are a hands-on person that doesn't mind getting dirty then a can do attitude and a desire to learn could make you the right person for this role.
• Ideally experience from the aviation industry or from a mechanical / production / manufacturing environment is required however all on the job training will be provided and mentored by an experienced team of Technicians.
• You have the ability to work in a regulated maintenance workshop whilst adhering to occupational health and safety / environmental requirements.
• You are able to read and comprehend aircraft component technical publications to perform duties in compliance with aviation regulatory requirements where required.
• You are able to navigate and process basic computer-based tasks.
• You appreciate team efforts and are a responsible person with high work ethics.
• You hold unconditional working rights in Australia.

WHAT WE OFFER:
$55,000.00 annual salary plus superannuation with salaries paid fortnightly. The roles are 38 hours per week (07:00 to 15:21 Monday to Friday) positions.
Training will be provided to the successful candidate.
PPE and safety equipment supplied as safety is of no compromise at TP Aerospace.
