About the role
- Team Global Express is seeking a Yard Tug Operator to commence immediately in Larapinta on Brisbane’s South Side
- This is a Full Time Permanent role
- The hourly rate for this position is $36.56/hour, plus penalties & 15% superannuation
- This role will be primarily site based, where you will be required to keep up with a busy, fast paced yard
- Must have a proven ability to reverse trailers in tight spaces/docks
- Use of two-way radio through the shift, to communicate with Yard Drivers, Fleet Controllers and Supervisors
- Follow all safety process and procedures
- Follow direction and have a great attention to detail regarding trailer movements/registrations
- Carry out all duties within set time frames and follow instructions closely.
- Identifying damages and reporting in accordance with site process
- Must have a safety first approach and demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistently
What you’ll bring
- Holds a valid MC Drivers Licence
- Experience in TUG Operations/Yard duties (Terberg/Daysworth Tug) is preferred
- You must have Full Rights to work in Australia
- You must have a high attention towards Safety
